Mdina Resounds: Echoes of the Silent City is an immersive promenade performance that draws audiences into the turning points of Mdina’s layered past. Blending theatrical storytelling, live music and song, the experience unfolds as a moving journey leading into exclusive spaces within St Paul’s Cathedral rarely open to the public.
The Performance
Sung to perfection by acclaimed tenors
Tom Arimtage and Angelo Muscat, the music is beautifully brought to life on by Jacob Portelli on various instruments including the Baroque Harp, Lirone and Violin. As the music fills the hidden rooms of St. Paul's Cathedral, Giuseppe D’Armenia, Member of the Cacciatori and Carpenter, played by actor Jeremy Grech, leads the audience through the Cathedral. The 40-minute performance starts at 11:30 with access to the Cathedral at 11:00
The Artists
Patrons may also opt to go on an exclusive guided tour right before the performance! This VIP Package offers the rare chance to explore the surrounding areas of picturesque Mdina along with a tour of St. Paul's Cathedral. The tour will be conducted in English by a professional Tourist Guide. NB Patrons may still opt to visit the Cathedral at 11:00, 30 minutes prior to the concert outside of the tour.
